Recently I was listening to an episode of “Coast to Coast” hosted by nationwide talk show host Art Bell. It’s one of the many things I do to try to keep myself informed so that I can keep you my readers and internet listeners informed on day to day and month to month events. Wouldn’t you know it, he posed a very good question this night. The song in the background was “Only in America” and I forget the groups name that played it but Art used it to ask the question, Can we still say that???? It’s a super question and I have to good pleasure of saying YES, but only for the time being do I have that pleasure because as I look at the news I find that more and more people are being fooled into the liberal way of thinking which in a nutshell is “Let government take care of us.” instead of the principles on which this country was designed on that being “I can take care of myself.” That’s not to say that there are not those out there who need our help and it is our duty as Christian people to see to it that they get that help. I say again, It’ is OUR duty as Christian people to see to it that they get that help, NOT the governments. A friend whom at his request shall remain nameless told me here awhile back that up until the 1940’s that is exactly how welfare was handled in this country, A family in need would get help from the church and when they were back on their feet again, they would pay the church back. Nowadays though with Big Brother Government stepping in, not only do you not have to pay them back, the same friend told me that he once tried to and they not only did not accept his payback but acted offended that he even offered. I’m not going to blame to government for this, They want total power over you and me and openly admit this if we would only open our ears and listen. You know this should be my anonymous friends article because I’m going to quote him once again here where he told me that our forefathers rebelled over the King of England George III taxing them for 3%. Yes my friends we fought a Revolution over 3% and by God’s good graces we won that revolution but nowadays you and I are being taxed close to if not 50% and we just sit back on our lazy butts and do nothing about it. Oh there are a few that grumble and call the IRS every name in the book but how many of us are actually writing our congressmen and senators and doing our level best to get the laws changed??? I want everybody to know that the bad guys are going to be judged in the final days but they will not be judged near as harshly as the good guys who just sit back and take what they are dishing out to them and I really don’t think they will be judged as harshly as the simply lazy men and women who are just sitting back and letting the government take care of them. Now for those of you reading who are on or have been on food stamps I am not necessarily talking about you. I too needed help on food stamps in the past and was grateful that they were available for me, but when I got on my feet and was able to take care of myself I wrote the department showing them I was no longer eligible and thanked them for their past help and started to take care of myself and my own family’s needs. The folks I’m getting on to are people such as these lazy women who will set home have kids by a man they are neither married to nor living with and wait for the check to arrive every month living in public housing and that is the way they provide for themselves every month. That to me sounds like the United States Government is rewarding women for fornication and infact that is exactly what they are doing. I also am not getting on to those who have disabilities, You are only doing what you must to survive without the abilities most of us are God Blessed to have but having said that I also want to applaud those folks with disabilities that have made the decision that they want to provide for themselves and as such have taken it upon themselves to go get training for the jobs in question that is provided for them. Yes my friends there are blind, slow learning, paralyzed, and any other handicapped people I might mention who are out there performing at jobs and making probably a better wage than yours truly here, which tells me that just about any man with the will to work can work and only in America at least for now can a man be just about anything he wants to be. This article wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t add this little tid bit from the Word of God II Thesalonians 3:10 10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. The same is still true today and once again I go back to Ancient Israel who like America was given their liberty by God but when they turned their backs on him and started serving self like a majority of us have started to do, God sent them into captivity and I can promise you this my friends that he will with us as well and infact if drastic changes are not made in our country and soon I foresee it happening in the very near future. Our wicked government ran not by you and me anymore but by the illuminati and the 10 men spoken of in the bible sees very clearly that we have turned our backs on God and have started to focus on ourselves, They will use this to their advantage to lure you with the bait of something for nothing and then when they have you they will jerk their proverbial fishing pole and have you in their clutches. Instead America I suggest we all get together and protest this taxation of almost 50%, I suggest the church takes back the job of distributing welfare to the needy, and I suggest these lazy harlots quit prostituting themselves for a stinking welfare check and we all get back to the business of taking care of ourselves and again start fighting for our constitutional rights that we have voluntarily signed away (Most of us without knowing we have done so) God is giving us one last chance, It is our choice America, freedom or bondage.I’d like to think that we will wake up and fight once again for our freedom while we still may. THAT’S WHAT I’D LIKE TO THINK.C.O.O.C
